COMPANY

Hewshott

TITLE

Associate Director

As associate director at Hewshott, Daniel Brooks combines a background in leadership and organisation with a deep understanding of technology design. Joining the consultancy without a formal technical background, he quickly proved his ability to learn, adapt and deliver, rising through the ranks to help shape Hewshott’s culture and direction.

Over the past year, Brooks has played a key role in refining the company’s internal structure and communication, introducing new processes for collaboration, training, and development across the UK and international offices. His focus on people has been as strong as his focus on projects: mentoring staff, improving workflows, and helping embed a consistent, high-performing approach across teams.

A recent highlight of his career is the AV and acoustic transformation of teaching spaces at the University of London’s Senate House Library, a project that balanced heritage architecture with modern functionality and has been widely praised by end users.

Brooks is also an advocate for sustainability and professional development within the AV industry, supporting initiatives such as RISE and SAVe, while helping Hewshott onboard its first apprentice. He has represented the company at industry events, including presenting with the AV User Group and overseeing shadowing plans for RISE mentees.
