Dominika Obwarzanek

Dominika Obwarzanek combines deep technical expertise with creative insight in her role as senior application engineer at d&b audiotechnik. Specialising in large-scale sports venues, she has supported more than 20 major projects in the past year alone, including stadiums with capacities exceeding 45,000 seats. Her advanced acoustical simulations and system optimisations have helped deliver consistent, high-performance sound across some of the world’s most demanding environments.

Alongside her project work, Obwarzanek manages strategic collaborations with Vectorworks and AFMG, strengthening d&b’s integration capabilities and technical ecosystem. She also contributes to internal training as a workshop leader in Backnang, mentoring colleagues and partners in system design and application engineering.

A passionate advocate for multidisciplinary thinking in AV, Obwarzanek encourages professionals to consider the full architectural, structural, and experiential context of audio design. Her early background in ballet and performing arts has informed a lifelong appreciation for precision, collaboration, and balance - qualities she brings to every project. Having relocated from Poland to Germany to pursue her career, she continues to champion inclusive, holistic approaches to engineering and the evolving culture of AV, while balancing professional ambition with family life and a commitment to lifelong learning.
