Over the past eight years, Febin Ismail has helped transform Avientek from a small team of four into a regional AV distribution force with more than 140 employees. As general manager of sales for Qatar and Saudi Arabia, he has driven the company’s expansion into two of the Gulf’s most competitive markets, securing flagship contracts and establishing Avientek as a trusted partner for both public and private sector clients.


He has contributed to the company achieving consistent double-digit growth and stronger relationships with major global brands. He has introduced new tools and processes to streamline partner engagement, including modular sales playbooks and fast-response sourcing systems that support efficiency and scalability across markets.


Ismail is also credited with launching branded AV events such as Opera Synch, designed to bring together technology and creativity to engage the region’s AV community. His biggest professional highlight to date is securing one of the largest DSP orders in the Middle East, a milestone project in Qatar that underscored his ability to combine strategic vision with on-the-ground execution.


Beyond sales growth, Ismail champions the next generation of AV professionals, initiating internship programmes and encouraging stronger university engagement.
