Alex Doherty

For Alex Doherty, technology matters, but people matter more. As sales manager for Merge Technologies’ Northern region, he works directly with clients to understand real-world needs and deliver practical, intuitive AV solutions.

His proudest achievement this year was guiding AV consultancy for Canva’s flagship Surry Hills HQ in Sydney, where he was able to combine his passion for tech and design. The project won Merge Technologies the Applied Excellence honour at the Inavate APAC Awards 2025.

Outside of work, Alex unwinds best in nature, camping and travelling with loved ones.
